The
Challenge
KEEPING TRACK OF ALL THE
SWEET DETAILS
Mondelez was looking to create a new system to replace their asset management system that was being used to order point of sales pops assets across Canada. The system was outdated and costly to use and Mondelez was looking for a solution to replace the platform.
Mondelez was referred to eventi express when they were looking to create a new POS Asset Management and Inventory System to replace the current system they were using. Their current system was outdated, costly and limited in its features and capabilities.
In the development of the POS Asset Management and Inventory System, a crucial requirement was ensuring that the switchover from the old system to the new was seamless and day-to-day services were not interrupted. This meant piloting and training users on the new system before the switchover to mitigate any potential issues that could occur.
Our
Approach
KNOWLEDGE IS LIKE CANDY
Eventi express collected all the requirements from the different stakeholders and business units so that we could properly map out the entire system. Significant time was invested in communicating with Mondelez reps, middle and higher management, logistics department and their SAP integration team.
Using a holistic approach, we collaborated with Mondelez to identify all possible workflows and created a series of wireframe specs and mockups of the POS Asset and Inventory Management System. This included front-end, back-end, logistics and SAP integrations, while also making the User Experience intuitive and easy to use.
Once our team at eventi express went into development, the POS Asset and Inventory Management System was integrated and deployed within four months.

RESULTS
LIFE IS BETTER WITH CHOCOLATE
373.13% ROI IN THE FIRST YEAR
The POS Asset and Inventory Management System improved collaboration between business units, provided transparency on national assets and their marketing efficiencies and created clear brand messaging.
New admin capabilities within the system allowed for items to be added, updated and removed in-house. With additional measures put in place for automated life cycles of select assets, this ensured that all asset brand messaging was strategically aligned internally and externally.
With an exponential increase of the ROI of asset usage, reduced manual administrative tasks and hours and automated reporting capabilities integrated into Mondelez’s SAP system, the POS Asset and Inventory Management System consolidated and streamlined the way Mondelez handled their assets and inventory.
